Lodges in action

Freemasonry is considered to be a forerunner of many secular charity movements in the 19th century.

Today, we continue to raise funds for many worthwhile causes in the Queensland community through our Lodges and through our charity Hand Heart Pocket.

We also have a totally separate fund where contributions give short-term help to others facing exceptional circumstances. Contact Hand Heart Pocket for more information on how you can help.

Our fundraising works in a variety of ways

Our Charity – Hand Heart Pocket

As the charity of Freemasons Queensland, Hand Heart Pocket works with Masonic Lodges, in both big cities and small (often forgotten) communities throughout Queensland and Papua New Guinea.

Lodges in action

Lodges back a wide range of initiatives that support other nonprofit organisations such as hospices, Meals on Wheels, Surf Life Savers and many more. Their donations are often supported by our charity, Hand Heart Pocket.

Supporting others
