Cleveland Lodge principle philosophy is to enjoy our Freemasonry, and be of service to our community.
Our Lodge's emblem shows the Cape Cleveland Light House and our proposed banner is: Cleveland Lodge - Shining light in the North.
Our Lodge meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm, and our Installation is held on the second Saturday in October with the festive Board open to our ladies and other guests.
We also go out to dinner two to three times a year and have been known to have an occasional sausage sizzle on our practice nights.
Our Lodge members support the annual Masonic Debutante Ball in Townsville.
Cleveland Lodge really does support our local community, in numerous ways including:
Planting new trees in the grounds of the Townsville Branch of the RSPCA to replace those lost during Cyclone Yasi.
Donating a wheelchair to Reef HQ for use by invalid visitors to the Townsville Aquarium.
Donating wheelchairs and TENS Machines to the Parklands Aged Care Facility.
Supporting the Mission to Seafarers through a annual donation of books and the provision of a new table tennis table.
Supporting the Delta Dogs Teams which visit the Masonic Homes.
Proving a tail gate lift platform to the Food Relief North Queensland ute.
Freemasons are a diverse group of men from all walks of life, from many religions and many backgrounds. Becoming a Freemason is a commitment to develop your own potential, to values that see all humankind as equal, and to helping others in our community.
