Freemasonry in Cairns dates back to 1885. By the mid-1920s Allan Lodge was one of six that were meeting in Cairns. The District Grand Lodge of Carpentaria was formed three years after Allan Lodge.
We meet at the Cairns Masonic Temple, which was built in 1935. Our Lodge is proud to be part of a strong and active Masonic community in Cairns.
Our regular monthly meetings are on the 4th Monday of the month at 7:30pm. We also have an annual meeting where the new Master and officers are invested for the following 12 months. This is held on the 2nd Saturday in March.
